Our turnaround times provide us the opportunity be very thorough with our work and make sure that everything we create is tip-top high quality. Please note that all corsets and dresses do not exist in pre-made stock! They are built entirely from scratch once a client places an order with us. Additionally, we don't stock-pile our fabric, and only order from from our suppliers when needed.
PLACING AN ORDER
To place an order, browse through the site and select the items that you would like
to purchase by clicking "Add To Cart". You can click on "Cart Contents" at anytime
to update the items in your shopping cart. When you are ready to checkout, click
"Checkout" to begin the checkout process.
You will be prompted to sign in to your account before you can complete checkout. If
you do not have a Vintage Doc account already, you can open one - it's very easy and
only takes a few minutes to do so!
Signing up for an account will allow you to checkout with speedier service
on your return visits, track current and past orders, and receive order confirmation
and shipping notification emails.
PAYMENT METHODS
All major credit cards and eChecks are accepted through Paypal via checkout (or Google Checkout via manual invoice - please inquire!). Paypal is a safe and
secure way to make credit card payments on the web - it allows you to send money
WITHOUT showing your sensitive financial information.
When you ready to pay for your items, you will be redirected to Paypal to complete
your transaction. If you already have a Paypal account, enter your login information at the
prompt. However, you do not need to create a Paypal account to use Paypal! Once submitted,
orders paid by Paypal will be processed instantly.
NOTE: All international orders MUST be paid for via Paypal - no other payment method will be accepted.
SHIPPING
All orders are shipped via USPS (United States Postal Service) by default. It is the client's responsibility to choose the best shipping method for their order. Please understand that we will NOT be held responsible for shipping delays and no refunds will be granted due to late deliveries.
TIME SENSITIVE PARCELS: If an item is needed sooner than the posted turnaround times above, upgrading to a Rush Order is REQUIRED. Click HERE for full details on Rush Orders.
NOTE: Make sure that your shipping address is correct! If the Post Office returns an undeliverable package back to us, IT WILL BE THE CLIENT'S RESPONSIBILITY TO PAY FOR SHIPPING COSTS THE SECOND TIME AROUND! No exceptions.

ORDERING INFO
How do I know if my order was received?
It is mandatory that ALL instructions be followed in order to ensure that an order was submitted successfully. Do not forget to click on the large "CLICK HERE TO COMPLETE YOUR ORDER" button at the end of checkout. Failure to do so will immediately delete your order from your Order History page, and all details will be lost. Only your payment will reach us.
NOTE: Orders will NOT be officially scheduled and the turnaround time period will NOT start until BOTH PAYMENT AND ORDER DETAILS ARE OBTAINED. No exceptions. If all instructions are not followed, then either one or both of these will fail to reach us. This will push back your completion and delivery dates later on our calendar, and may even cause you to miss your deadline.
Once you have properly placed your order, you will receive a confirmation email from Paypal and an email from our site containing the details of your order. You will then be able to log into your Vintage Doc account and see your specific order details on your Order History page. If no order shows up in your account, then the order was submitted incorrectly. CONTACT US immediately if this is the case!
How do I know when my order has shipped?
You will receive an email on the date your shipping label is created. For NON-RUSH ORDERS: items will ship AFTER the turnaround times indicated at the top of the page. For RUSH ORDERS: items will ship on or up to two business days after your scheduled completion date. Refer to the shipping charts for delivery estimations.
For international shipments: please understand that delivery times depend on your country's customs departments. We are unable to control how a package is handled once it is out of our possession. Choosing a FASTER and therefore MORE RELIABLE shipping method when checking out is always recommended.
RETURNS
Due to the nature of DIY and Special Occasion items, all sales are final. We do our very best to describe items thoroughly and honestly. We also take the time to post extreme close-ups of the itty-bitty details of the pieces - just so you know what you are getting into.
All posted sizes are true and exact - it is the client's sole responsibility to make sure the item will fit by calculating their body measurements BEFORE placing an order. Absolutely no refunds or exchanges will be accepted if you measure incorrectly, guesstimate, or otherwise fail to follow these directions altogether.
